Took a trip up to EFBC this week - Sakhar is still that photogenic Amur Leopard that she was the last time I was there!

My new found love is Jquery, the popular choice among Javascript libraries. I’m shocked it took me this long to finally start using it. The capabilities of Jquery are insane and they are sooo easy to implement it’s not even funny. The community surrounding this library is just as robust - there’s a plethora of plugins in the event the main Jquery and Jquery UI library doesn’t do what you need on its own. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, be sure to do so. It has been around for some time now:

Some good uses;
- Ajax loading
- Tooltips
- Animations
- Showing/hiding divs
- Swapping CSS classes on an element
- Toggling
- Much more.

I’m currently using it for Ajax, tooltips, drop downs, tabbed content boxes and lightboxes. Not bad
