Took some new high-resolution texture photos during my Vegas trip and my stop at a Ghost Town on the way home. The newest are at the bottom of each texture category. They are in both JPG and RAW (CR2) format. Enjoy!

I finally got around to getting these all up on the site. I’ve added about 27 new textures. The cloth texture category is new, which I’ll start working on filling out fairly soon. As boring as cloth really is to me, it can still be useful for compositions. Here’s a sampling — enjoy!

I bought a Canon 40D DSLR which means I can finally say goodbye to the point-and-shoot Sony DSC-H5 I’ve been using. It was a great camera, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into photography (some of those photos came out better than some photos I’ve seen from DSLRs). I can begin providing much higher quality textures AND in RAW format. I think many of you who are using my textures will appreciate the new flexibility of RAW. You should also notice less noise and blur by far.
