AddictingGames is running a Flash game contest with over $20,000 in prize money. Here are the details straight from the site:

So we’re throwing down the gauntlet — show us your most addictive AddictingGame™. We’re looking for an original idea with great gameplay. A diabolical game mechanic with a tired theme won’t do it. A fresh theme attached to a boring game won’t survive the cut either.

We’ll make it worth your while — Over $20,000 in prize money, plus promotion on the AddictingGames™ site. So give it your best shot. You may already be a winning fiend.

Only catch? I can see is that they reserve the right to sell and distribute your submission… so make sure it’s not a game you hold dear to your heart and have big plans for
